Creatively Wild offers private art classes in our studio in DUMBO. We offer customized professional tuition that provides you with the support and feedback essential for your goals. Whether you’re a beginner who might be intimidated by a group class, an artist who likes to work at your own pace, or a more experienced artist looking for inspiration, private classes are perfect for you!

WHY GO PRIVATE?

HOW IT WORKS

  • Purchase a package at least 48 hours before the first session (the larger the package, the lower the hourly rate)

  • The more options on days/times you give, the better we can match a teacher

  • Wait for us to reach out with confirmation

FLEXIBLE SIGN-UP OPTIONS

  • Enroll on your schedule (dates, times, and session length)

  • Enroll in repeat lessons or do a one-off lesson

  • Private art lessons are also offered online or offsite at a private venue

WHAT WE TEACH

  • DRAWING: basic drawing and illustration techniques, graphic novels, storyboarding, cartooning, anime, manga

  • PAINTING: traditional, realism, landscape, portraiture, graffiti, master artist techniques, abstract, self expression Painting.

  • DIGITAL ART: Procreate, Photoshop, stop motion animation.

  • MIXED MEDIA: collage, found object art, 3D works

MATERIALS

DRAWING: paper, pencils, pens, ink, pastels, and charcoals are supplied

PAINTING: The use of oil, acrylic, or watercolor paint is included, along with brushes.

One canvas per person (8x10, 11x14, or 16x20) in included.

If you are looking to work bigger and need a larger canvas, please purchase your own larger canvas and bring it with you.

Specialty Materials: We do NOT supply any specialty materials, (finishing mediums, glosses, modeling paste, pumice, gels, etc).

HOW MUCH TIME TO BOOK?

Different media require different amounts of time. We recommend a minimum of two hours to benefit from instruction and/or finish a project (kids, teens, adults). Toddlers do best with one hour sessions.
