ANIMATION CAMP (6-15 yrs)

Creatively Wild’s popular Stop Motion Animation Camp is offered to kids and teens. Animators will:

  • Explore story planning as well as set and character design

  • Experiment with prop-making using clay, drawings, Lego, and more

  • Learn to set characters in scenes to build a narrative

  • Construct a story with tension and drama

  • Learn to use themes and titles, sound, and music

  • Add special effects

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

SCHEDULE

  • 8:45-9am: drop-off

  • 9am-12pm: morning animation project

  • 12-1:15pm: lunch at Main St. Playground or under the Archway if it’s raining

  • 1:15-4pm: afternoon animation project

  • 3:50-4:00pm: pick-up

OPTIONS

  • Full day: 9am-4pm

  • We do not offer half day options for animation

  • Add early drop-off from 8am or late pick-up until 5pm as an extra while registering

WHAT TO BRING

  • ***Your own iPad with Stop Motion Studio Pro already downloaded ($5.99)***

  • Appropriate chargers

  • A packed NUT-FREE lunch and a water bottle (with your name on it!)

  • Half-day campers do not stay for lunch but are welcome to bring a NUT-FREE snack and water bottle.

WHAT NOT TO BRING

  • toys/stuffed animals

  • anything super special to you

  • scooters/bikes (we just don’t have the room)

  • Cell phones (if they are brought for safety reasons, they should not be used or seen during the day).

REGISTERING:

We offer flexibility in booking. Whether you book one day or book twenty days, our single-date selection tool lets you schedule art camp as it’s best for you!

Please note, our registration system cuts off 12 hours ahead of camp so we can be best prepared. Prior registration and payment are required. 

Need to reschedule a camp? Submit a rescheduling ticket at least 24 hours before camp start time ($25 fee) and we’ll book you for a new date. If you know you’ll be out of town or unavailable on certain dates, book single dates instead! We do not reschedule, credit, or refund for sick days or no-shows.

May 27 (Memorial Day Camp)

June 6 and 7 (public school clerical days)
