Diego Best is a freelance illustrator based in Queens, New York. His inspiration for his work comes from indie films, Christianity, nature, and books, but his roots and training are based in comics and manga. His goal for each illustration is to offer a bit of escapism for the viewer along with a poetic experience. His teaching style specializes in art fundamentals as well as manga and anime design, along with traditional drawing and illustration. Diego has been teaching with Creatively Wild since 2021 and works with all age groups in the studio. Diego heads up our digital art classes. Diego is also available for private art lessons.
