Reed Oka-MacLaren
is a visual artist originally from Salem, Massachusetts, he got his BFA in Scenic Design for Theater from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. He is a painter, sculptor, illustrator, and storyteller, most notably working on original self-published comic books, such as “If the Big Red Shoe Fits” and “The Outrageous Adventures of Fishlegs” Trilogy. A former camp counselor, Reed joined Creatively Wild this year, he is passionate about teaching and eager to inspire young artists to pursue and develop their craft. Reed is a versatile instructor who teaches all ages and levels at our studio. A new member of our team, he is already beloved by his students, for his nurturing approach to all from Toddlers to Adult artists. Reed is also available for private art lessons
